Schwäbisch Hall, July 2008. Behr Hella Service is expanding its thermal-management range in the engine-cooling and vehicle air-conditioning sector by more than 270 products for vehicles from the Korean car manufacturers Hyundai, Kia and Chevrolet/Daewoo. This includes coolant radiators, interior heat exchangers, coolant-radiator/condenser fans, Visco® fans and clutches, condensers, expansion valves, filter-dryers and compressors. The range in this special sector now includes more than 330 products. This means that Behr Hella Service covers up to 85% of the parts requirement in Western Europe in the individual product groups for Korean vehicles. The parts newly included in the range will be fully available from September 2008.

The joint venture by the automotive suppliers Behr (specialist for vehicle air conditioning and engine cooling) and Hella (specialist for components and systems for lighting technology and electronics) deals with the global independent aftermarket for vehicle air conditioning and engine cooling. The joint venture combines Behr Service activities on the independent aftermarket and the air-conditioning business of the Hella aftermarket organization. Behr and Hella each have a 50% share in the joint venture.
