Behr Hella Service is expanding its Thermal Management range265 new thermal management articles included in the range – New air conditioning service units SECUsmart and SECUmobile for stationary and mobile useSchwäbisch Hall/Frankfurt, 12th September 2006. Following the successful start to the new joint venture on the European independent aftermarket with more than 6,000 articles, Behr Hella Service is expanding its range by a further 265 parts in time for this year's Automechanika. Around two thirds of these articles are from the engine cooling range; all the other products are from the vehicle air conditioning range. Some of these new products, including the new air conditioning service units SECUsmart and SECUmobile, will be presented at the Hella fair stand (Hall 3, Stand D91). Within the context of this comprehensive product expansion, the compressor range (remanufactured and new) has been further extended and includes six new sizes of compressor filter screens which protect the compressor from damage caused by mechanical contaminants such as metal swarf. Eight new products have been included in the hoses range, including compressor-condenser connections for the VW Golf IV, VW Passat and Audi A4 among others. In addition, the new Lokring tool set from Behr Hella Service makes the handling of hoses easier for garage experts. The new air conditioning service units SECUsmart and SECUmobile will be exhibited for the first time at an international fair. The fully automatic units for stationary and mobile use fulfil the basic functions of professional air conditioning service: evacuation of the refrigerant and the oil from the vehicle system, recycling the refrigerant and separation of the used oil, creation of a vacuum to evaporate residual refrigerant completely and to check the tightness of the vehicle system, as well as refilling the system with fresh refrigerant and oil. There will be a live demonstration of both the air conditioning tools and the service units throughout the day for interested trade visitors.
