| Why |
|
The cabin air filter filters out dust, pollen and pollutants from the air before it flows, clean and cooled, into the vehicle cabin. As with every filter, its absorption capacity is limited. Every air conditioning system comes equipped with an evaporator. Condensate forms on the surface of its fins which gradually becomes colonized by bacteria, fungi and microorganisms. The evaporator therefore has to be regularly disinfected.
