Various shunt relays are triggered by the pressure switch in
order to guarantee safe and effective use of the air conditioning
system under all conditions. Through this process, individual
system components are switched on and off according to
defined pressure points. The pressure switches can fail due to
contacting problems or soiling. Regular system servicing prevents
failure. Further air conditioning system switches such as
on/off switches sensibly round off the range.
