Thermal management expert will present expanded portfolio including many new products
Schwaebisch Hall, July 2010. Thermal management expert Behr Hella Service will be present as usual at its joint exhibition booth with sales partner Hella during this year's Automechanika Fair from 14th to 19th September in Frankfurt, Germany (Hall 3.0, Booth D91). Many new products of its engine cooling and vehicle air conditioning portfolio will be shown. A free DVD with more than 250 new thermal management products will also be available at the booth.
Especially new charge-air coolers, radiator and condenser fans, and filter dryers are among the additions to the product range. Already today, Behr Hella Service covers approximately 80 per cent of the car park in Western Europe in terms of coolant radiators and condensers, and approximately 75 per cent when it comes to A/C compressors. The coverage for charge-air coolers saw an increase of more than 60 per cent, compared to 2008, to more than 44 per cent today; for radiator and condenser fans, the coverage has even doubled to more than 40 per cent. As for filter dryers, already approximately 70 per cent of the car park in Western Europe are covered. With an electrically powered air conditioning compressor, Behr Hella Service for the first time introduces a thermal management product specially for hybrid vehicles. Additional exhibits will be indirect charge-air coolers for passenger and commercial vehicles, as well as coolers for exhaust gas recirculation—they contribute to complying with the Euro-5 standard for commercial vehicles, just like the electronically controlled, extremely efficient Visco® fan.
Visitors will also be informed about thermal management products resulting from partnering with Visteon Corporation that Behr Hella Service sells exclusively in the independent European auto parts market. This range has grown to approximately 280 items in the past few months. Since January 2010, Behr Hella Service has also held the exclusive global marketing rights for thermal management products from AKG for passenger and commercial vehicles. Thanks to these sales partnerships, Behr Hella Service was able to further strengthen its market position in thermal management. With a comprehensive product portfolio, major cooperation partners, and a powerful global sales network, Behr Hella Service today is one of the leading providers of cooling and A/C products in the independent auto parts market.
