Starting in January 2012, the thermal management experts are expanding their range of products with over 150 water pump kits and more than 600 water pumps
Schwäbisch Hall, November 2011. Behr Hella Service is expanding its product range for engine cooling in 2012, with more water pump kits and water pumps. In doing so, Behr Hella Service completes its range of products in the field of thermal management. At market launch on January 1st 2012, over 150 service-friendly water pump kits as well as more than 600 water pumps will be available as individual spare parts in OEM quality.
The water pump kits each comprise of all the spare parts required for the operation of the water pump and are perfectly compatible. Along with the water pumps (including, if required, O-rings or other seals) and the toothed belts, tension, deflection and guide rollers as well as seals will be delivered if they are required for the operation. This saves you the often time-consuming search for the suitable components, and offers a perfect complete solution for your workshop
Due to the comprehensive range of water pump kits, Behr Hella Services will, at market launch, already cover 90 percent of passenger cars in Western Europe where the water pumps are powered by toothed belts. In addition, the range coverage for passenger car water pumps in Western Europe will be around 90 percent. From the second quarter of 2012 more than 30 additional water pump kits will be added to the range.
Furthermore, Behr Hella Service customers can continue to take advantage of our attractive sales support and competent technical support. For example the function of the water pumps is shown graphically in the know-how tool, and possible defects and causes of faults are explained (http://www.behrhellaservice.com/behrhellaservice-de-de/653.html). The package of services also includes the competent hotline, technical information regarding repairs and maintenance, as well as a comprehensive training concept.

Behr Hella Service GmbH, Schwäbisch Hall: The joint venture by the automotive suppliers Behr (specialist for vehicle air-conditioning and engine cooling) and Hella (specialist for components and systems for lighting technology and electronics) deals with the global independent aftermarket for vehicle air-conditioning and engine cooling. The joint venture combines Behr Service activities on the independent aftermarket and the air-conditioning sector of the Hella aftermarket organization. Behr and Hella each have a 50% share in the joint venture. The combination of Hella's global sales organisation with Behr's product know-how and the linking of activities in the field of vehicle air-conditioning and engine cooling for the parts business is a consistent further development of the already existing cooperation between Behr and Hella in the field of climate control and front-end modules.
