THE BEHR HELLA SERVICE CODE OF CONDUCT
The conduct of the Behr Hella Service GmbH management board and the overall organizational body is determined by the principles of responsible and transparent corporate management and controlling. The express commitment to consciously implement the generally recognized compliance principles supports sustainable formation of trust among business partners as well as employees. Thus, these actions also help improve value creation in the company. A pro-active role in the adherence to the relevant standards is essential for long-term company success.
An additional goal set by the management board is to detect, at an early stage, possible risks for potential violations of legal standards and socially recognized values. Violations can be prevented in advance through intensive and direct communication as well as by identifying and implementing suitable actions together with the participants.
For the Behr Hella Service GmbH management board, the term "compliance" is not just defined by adhering to the relevant legal requirements and prohibitions. Rather, it is also a question of matching the corporate behavior with social values on morals and ethics.
For all participants, this is a dynamic process in which basic and social values as well as legal standards are continuously being developed in accordance with changing requirements.
The requirement for adhering to this self-imposed commitment does not just extend to all regular employees of Behr Hella Service GmbH and the subsidiaries, but also to freelancers, consultants, suppliers and contractors. Actions or failure to act on the part of the aforementioned groups of people that are contrary to the compliance principles is absolutely disapproved by Behr Hella Service GmbH.
These expectations are consistent with internationally recognized compliance principles on social responsibility and is therefore applicable internationally.
